Heard your jetting outta this cold weather?! I know you don't wanna over pack but you also need something to toss over that swim suit for a few days. This week we dug out my denim cutoffs and Clint's vintage Calvin Klein jacket both from The Lightning Co. It was fun to get back to playing with some warmer weather outfits, all of which could fit in your carry on.

New clothes for your photo session... to buy or not to buy?

It's tempting to indulge in completely new outfits for a photo session, I'll admit... but here's why you shouldn't. Have you ever bought a new outfit only to realize (while wearing it) that you simply hate it (the fit, the cut, etc.)? "How could the sales clerk have let me buy this ill-fitting atrocity," you huff. Ever been that person?? Hindsight is really good at pointing out all our bad wardrobe choices.

I have a huge canvas hanging on one of my walls that is my nagging reminder...

...Every hour was filled to the brim before we jetted back to the hills of Tennessee. I made sure to catch up with these two lovebirds who are about to welcome a new baby boy in the next few weeks. Whoa, I will never get used to my little brother being a grown up. He is absolutely in love with his little Mrs. and they were hustling to put the final touches on their nursery. Blue and white seem to be their signature colors which is exactly what I'm loving this summer, how perfect! Love you both! -Laura P.S.
