Framed.
Most of the time frames don't interest me. I'd opt to spend my dollars on a few more inches of canvas over a custom frame any day. However, since the last time I tore my studio apart to redecorate I've had a serious issue with things looking too match-y. I gave away all of my studio samples and ordered canvas of every dimention and width and mixed and matched it all with vintage recycled frames. Somehow my typical OCD disappeared and it felt better to see things so un-perfect.

What's in my bag?
Let's talk about products. Yep, I get sucked in just like the rest of you. Fancy labels and bright colors always call to me from the shelf. I'm enticed and drawn towards a well-designed box full of empty promises. The designer in me caves, and throwing reason to the wind, I indulge in another well-branded product to sit on my bathroom shelf hardly used. Saying, "No", has been a developed skill as I have embarrassingly been caught sitting and watching entire infomercials, convinced to give a new and tempting product a try.

Taylor and I met up the night before her session, neither of us able to wait any longer. I had been in our hotel anxiously planning for the next day's session while pacing around the room (which was driving my hubby nuts)... this is a change from the usual since he typically has the energy of five small children. So of course I jumped at the chance to get a personal tour around the town of Saint Joseph, MI from Taylor's crew (Mom, aunt and two sisters). Lets just say the beach was filled with screeching, laughing and dancing that night!
