I love the first day back to work after vacation. I'm anxious to put into action all the bits of inspiration I've been gathering along the East Coast the last ten days. My camera and journals are brimming with ideas as well as every free bit of space in my head.

Three cups of coffee on my Southern patio this A.M. was the perfect diving board into design bliss. My editor and I are polishing up the last few details from a summer session with Madison when I remembered how much I loved this image ... and not just because I'm a puppy fanatic. xo- L
